Our collection of nearly 90 Action sheets are central to the PACE Conservation education materials. Action sheets provide information on how to implement the wide ranging solutions to environmental problems that are covered in the PACE films, reader and other resources: from Planting trees, to Cultivating mushrooms, Growing chillies to deter elephants and much more.
An evaluation of the PACE programme was just completed. It looked at feedback from sixty conservation educators in 13 African countries. On a scale of 1-5, people completing the evaluation survey gave PACE Action sheets an average usefulness rating of 4.78, that’s 98%’ – so we thought we’d shout about them a bit!!
There are Action sheets in each of the PACE modules – Living with Wildlife, Water, Soil, Trees, Energy, Urban Living, Living by the Ocean, and Health. There are nearly 90 Action sheets in total – they are available on the Resource pages for each PACE topic, like this one for Soils.
Action sheets are used at school by children doing projects and experiments, and also for real-life community, household and income generating projects.
